Unsupported formats

We’re unable to transfer the following kinds of tapes:

  • DVC tapes

  • U-Matic

  • 16mm reels

  • 35mm film

  • PAL VHS tapes

  • Audio reels

Please confirm that your videos are supported to avoid being charged for unsupported tapes.

Other details

  • Tapes submitted that are blank or not transferred are charged $9/tape instead of the normal transfer rate.

  • Copyrighted videos are not eligible for transfer without written approval from copyright holder.

We can transfer data only to Save Your Tapes provided flash drives. Customer provided flash drives are not accepted.

DVDs

DVD copies ($10/DVD), 20% off 3 or more copies

Each tape can be on its own DVD or tapes can share a DVD when possible to save on cost. Up to 4 videos fit on a DVD (2 hours max).

DVD cases: Paper sleeve (included), Plastic DVD cases ($1.50/DVD), travel wallet ($20, 24 DVD capacity)
