There are multiple ways you can earn referrals. Choose a method that works for you or do them all to maximize your earnings potential.

Post on social media

Create an eye catching or informative post that inspires or encourages your friends to reach out to you about getting their video tapes digitized. You could post one of your old home video tapes if you have one and share where you got it digitized. If you have one of your own video tapes that you’d like to get digitized to promote, you can get 1 tape digitized free of charge using code ROCKSTAR1. Use of this code is limited to enrolled VHS Rockstar members only.

Ask your friends and family in person

It’s easy to find your leads, all you have to do is ask :) At your next friend or family gathering, just simply ask the question “do you have any home video tapes”? If the answer is yes, you know where to send them :) Go above and beyond and hand them a business card with your discount referral link.

Leave your business cards in public places

Find good places to leave your business cards such as coffee shops, senior communities, libraries, and other locations that might be visited by people that have home video tapes

Register your referrals

If you engage with a lead that is highly likely to convert to a referral, it is highly recommended to register your referral. This sends the person an email with info on how to place their order, and gives you credit for the referral. If a lead doesn’t list you as a referral or use your discount code, we have no way to track it back to you.
